Learning Center
The Earth Day Kids Event will take place on May 1, 2021 at Cypress Gardens in Moncks Corner SC with 19 children participating along with their parents/guardians.
Food Pantry
Food distribution continued with pre-filled bags given at the door on April 13 and April 20. In lieu of the Blessed Angela meal, bagged lunches were provided by St. Ann Catholic Church along with a $10 IGA gift card on April 27.
Clothing Closet
The Clothing Closet was open on Fridays. Regular operating procedures were resumed in the closet with social distancing and masks. Three Francis Marion University students and their instructor, masked and gloved, performed health screenings.
Health Programs
Interviews for assistance with dental, eye, prescriptions and food pantry began on April 27 with tabletop shields and other precautions in place.
Decisions to cancel events or adapt events continue for the protection of staff, clients and students.
