Kid's Kuisine

Throughout the school year students are participants in a cooking class with a cooking instructor. Using this hands-on method, students see not only how to prepare a meal but gain first-hand cooking techniques, safety tips, and table manners too. By the end of the class, the students have more confidence in preparing the same meal for their own family. Sampling the “fruits of their labor” also adds to the excitement of this culinary demonstration. At the end of the lesson, students are given a bag of ingredients to prepare the same meal for their family at home.

Adult Cooking Class

With Kid’s Kuisine being a hit with the students, cooking classes are also held for adults.  A cooking instructor demonstrates how to prepare a nutritious, balanced meal. Participants discuss healthy substitutions and options for the meal. Participants leave with a bag of ingredients to prepare the same meal at home for their family.
