Since the Felician Sisters arrived in Kingstree, SC, their presence has impacted not only the street where they live, but also the community. Their work has reached across the state and even the country. But most importantly, they have listened to the needs of the community and have responded with ministries to help the under-served. Each of these programs continues to evolve based on current needs. A true testament of Felician presence is the involvement of volunteers across domination and racial barriers to join in a simple deed of helping their sisters and brothers.
The video below from Catholic Extension 2012 Lumen Christi Award, still holds true today with the involvement of even more volunteers, churches, and agencies participating in the Clothing Closet, Food Programs, Health Programs, and Learning Center.
