Annually the Felician Center joins all the other North American Felician ministries to celebrate Mission and Heritage Week in the beginning of October. It is a time of gratitude and a call to action to live out the mission globally.
On October 8th, the Felician Center Board members engaged in a meeting that included reports on Mission, Finances, Corporate Compliance, Properties, Institutional Advancement and Programs. Dr. Todd Beadle, FSI Senior Ministry Adviser from Milwaukee and Sister Jeremy Marie Midura, FSI EVP of Charism and Mission from Chicago made a presentation on the revised Charism and Mission Integration policy. The purpose was to deepen the vision of the Felician Center ministry and commitment to the core values as intended in all Felician sponsored ministries. Joe Waters, mission team faith formation
coordinator, followed with the update on the discernment process that the board members have been engaged in regarding Felician Center into the future. New aspects of the ministry were also shared including the Foster Program for Williamsburg County families. Sister Johnna, FCI, board President, gave special recognition to Cathy McClary, volunteer manager of the Clothing Closet, for her untiring efforts to organize and manage the closet.
