International Students Outing

Benefactors from WNY and Felician Center sponsored a trip to the movies for 12 international students and their mothers to see Paddington in Peru. The movie follows the journey of Paddington from his home in London to Peru to meet up with his family. He has a home in both places like the students from Cameroon, India and the Philippines attending St. Ann Catholic Church.

Afterwards, all enjoyed lunch at Olive Garden (kids menu $6.99 is cheaper than a McDonald’s meal). Fettuccine, lasagna, spaghetti, shrimp scampi and chicken gnocchi soup were among the favorites. New tastes, new vocabulary and lunchtime specials were enjoyed by all including Sister Carol, Sister Johnna and Sister Susanne.
