St. Luke Lutheran Church Endowment Fund Grant

On April 29, 2025, the Felician Center was awarded one of the St. Luke Lutheran Church, Florence, SC Endowment Grants. The purpose of this fund shall be to use the income and discretionary principal there to further the ministry of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Grant awards are to focus on the areas of: community outreach through ministry, education, and philanthropy in the Pee Dee area. The Felician Center will use the funds to purchase new shoes for the elderly that have support and arches for aching feet and backs. In October, the Felician Center sponsors a Shoe Festival for the elderly 60 years and older who produce Williamsburg County ID and proof of age.
During the month of May, the Felician Center will also be placing "shoe trees" in various churches and businesses to have donors purchase shoes for the elderly.
