St Michael Food Drive

Monday was St. Patrick's Day and the Felician Center had "the luck of the Irish" and the "pot of gold at the end of the rainbow". A huge truckload of over 3,000 food items was delivered that was collected by the Knights of Columbus, Garden City, SC. Yesterday in a 3 hour period, the Knights collected the food items that they delivered today. Ten gentlemen from Garden City accompanied the truck to Kingstree where they unpacked the items with their generous hearts, strong hands and muscles and love for their neighbors in need. With the food items was a check for $1300 from benefactors to stock the pantry. This gesture was the genuine response to the call for almsgiving in this Lenten season.
