Thanksgiving Learning Adventures

The children of the Felician Center celebrated Thanksgiving in various ways. Artwork included decorating turkeys, making Thanksgiving trees and posters which the children filled in with things that they are thankful for this year. In addition, the children viewed a short video about the Samaritan Purse project and filled shoeboxes for children in need around the world. Thanksgiving Bingo with prizes was also enjoyed by all. A reading session was included with the younger children doing a dramatization. At the conclusion, each child went home with a bag of apples or bag of oranges to share with their families. The Kingstree Sisters were blessed to have Mary Jane Ashe, sister of Sister Carol and Susie Dziedzic-Gallo, sister of Sister Susanne, volunteer to help the Felician Sisters for this program.
