Kingstree Fire Department Provides Hands On Fire Safety Instructions

October is traditionally celebrated with the Fire Prevention month. Chief Ford and crew from Kingstree Fire Department visited the Learning Adventure program to discuss safety procedures with the children’s group. Afterwards, the children were shown and instructed about the features of the fire truck including a demo of a firefighter putting on all safety gear when engaging in a fire. The children were able to go through the fire truck and then receive some fire hats and educational materials to take home and share with their families.
