Felician Center Celebrates Christmas 2025

Christmas is the season where kindness becomes the most beautiful gift. Both the sacred and secular aspects of the holyday/holiday were celebrated at Felician Center.

Early in December various local groups and donors prepare to gift others for Christmas. The Professional Women’s and Seekers Bible study groups adopted some international families to bless for Christmas. Another group known as the Christmas Angels from Western New York assisted. These international families are legal and professional that most times send monies home to their parents and families in their native countries eg. India, Philippines, Cameroon. Besides taking care of their rent, food, transportation, utilities there is very little left for the extras.

Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, North Myrtle Beach, St. Michael Catholic Church, Garden City, SC, Our Lady of Sacred Heart High School, Coraopolis, PA added donations of boxes of candy canes, new kids’ jackets and gift cards. An annual benefactor from Myrtle Beach, SC purchased an abundance of gifts for 20 children including new velvet type Christmas dresses for the girls and outfits for the boys.

Kingstree United Methodist Church and Williamsburg Presbyterian Church sponsor a Christmas party for the children in the Learning Center. Blakely Hundley read a Christmas story to the children and Sister Susanne engaged the children in the nativity story. Each one created a Nativity art activity. Pizza and drinks, a visit from Santa (Shannon Coker) and a gift were given to each child.

“When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed.”
