Third Appreciation Event

On July 11, 2023, the Felician Center was able to invite some major benefactors and friends to a Third Appreciation Event in Buffalo, New York.  Since Mary Lisa McGill, Board Chairperson, was participating in the Leadership Institute in Buffalo and Joe Waters, Mission Leader, Sister Johnna and Sister Susanne were presenting a session, these players were available to host this private event.  Sister Paul Marie Baczkowski, Board member who lives in Buffalo and Sister Denise Marie Jaworski, benefactor, co-chaired the event at Kiebzak’s restaurant. The Polish menu of two kinds of sausages, sweet and sour cabbage, lazy pierogi and cheesecake were a delicious delight for the “southern” presenters.

Joe Waters served as MC for the event, Sister Paul Marie opened with a prayer and Sister Carol Piskor, Sister Johnna Ciezobka and Sister Susanne Dziedzic presented a State of the Union style address for the guests.  Mary Lisa McGill concluded the event with her personal thanks to the countless individuals who have supported the Felician Center ministry since 1992. It was time to celebrate in WNY.
