Volunteering Hands And Heart At The Felician Center

Oftentimes, May is a season to recognize people who make a difference in the lives of others.

From April 24 until May 2, 2025, Susie Gallo, younger sister of Sister Susanne, volunteered her hands and heart at the Felician Center. It happened to be a time when staff were limited, and so Susie stepped in nearly all the facets of the ministry.

Susie stocked shelves in the Food Pantry, served the Blessed Angela meal, sorted clothing in the Clothing Closet, prepared art activity for the upcoming Children’s Festival. She accompanied Sister Susanne and Sister Johnna on a shopping trip to
purchase shoes for the elderly for the Fall Shoe Festival. When an extra minute was available, Susie engaged in some office work, too. (Of course, there was a chance to visit the ocean, too)
